Our History

The McGinnis family founded The McGinnis Lumber Company Inc. in January 1922. Today, our sales territory includes more than 40 states and four foreign countries.

We’ve achieved steady, long-term success by finding good people and treating them right so they’ll stay with us. That applies to our own staff members as well as to suppliers and customers.

We’re sticking with that philosophy. It has worked just fine for more than a century. We look forward to many more decades of serving the forest products industry and its people.
